  1. Complete Pre-Licensing Education Requirements: The first step to becoming a real estate agent in Georgia is to complete pre-licensing education. The state requires that all prospective real estate agents complete a minimum of 75 hours of approved pre-licensing education. This education must cover topics such as property ownership, contract law, and real estate principles.
